The Chamber of Agribusiness Ghana serves as the voice of agribusiness industry (covering smallholder producer cooperatives and agribusiness value chain actors) with utmost commitment to playing a leadership role dedicated to enriching the agribusiness sector in Ghana. We do this through deliberate policy advocacy, capacity building and rural financing.
The internship
We are looking for someone who is excited to run administrative tasks and additionally help develop multi-channel communication campaigns and easily picks up on new digital tools to work with. Tasks could include a wide variety of communication work: from assisting in event planning, creating content and responding proactively to CAG’s administrative requests.
During your internship you are encouraged to develop your own ideas, together with the Program Directors, to find new and creative ways to raise awareness of CAG’s work. We are looking for a motivated and hands-on person that is interested in office administration, communication and agriculture.
Interning at CAG also provides you valuable industry connections, opportunity for rural field-based assignments in Ghana, plus being a strategic entry point for full-time job roles in the organisation.
What you bring
Excellent knowledge of English both spoken and written is essential. Other languages a plus;
Excited to work on office administrative tasks and help create communication campaigns including writing, video, infographics, podcasts, images, etc. and passion for online content creation;
Strong affinity with social media. You like to think creatively about campaigns including text, visuals, engaging and targeting specific audiences;
Able to work independently, and in a fast-paced environment;
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and the ability to support different projects and people. Hence, good time management skills

This role is expected to be a full-time internship lasting 6 months, starting as soon as possible. We offer a monthly internship stipend.
