Ecowas Agricultural Trade (EAT) Program and Chamber of Agribusiness Ghana Explore Working Collaboration

On March 29, 2023, the Chamber of Agribusiness Ghana had the pleasure of hosting a delegation from the ECOWAS Agricultural Trade (EAT) program, which is funded by the German development agency, GIZ. The objective of the meeting was to identify potential areas of cooperation and explore synergies between the two organizations. During the meeting, both parties engaged in constructive discussions on a range of topics related to sustainable agricultural development, including cross-border trade, market access, trade facilitation, and capacity building.

The Chamber of Agribusiness Ghana is committed to promoting the growth of the agricultural sector in Ghana, and this meeting represents an important step towards achieving that goal by forging partnerships and collaborating with like-minded organizations in the region.

Representatives from the ECOWAS Agricultural Trade program include: Arne Schuffenhauer (Project Leader), Kabir Hassan (Technical Advisor-Trade Facilitation), and Pascal Ononugbo (Technical Advisor-Trade Promotion).
